Fancy Dress Parade/Competition and the Cake Making Competition

The theme for the 2013 competitions is “Best of British”.Kinver_kings&Queens

The fancy dress procession is an important part of the parade,  which kicks off the fayre at 11am.   Judging will take place in the Stag Meadow arena around noon. Prizes are given for the best costumes.  Judges will be looking for originality, interpretation, effort (i.e. homemade rather than a bought costume from a shop) and overall appearance.

Forms can be obtained from June Dillow or Kinver Library. There will be a post box at the library for completed forms or you can email them to June –  june.dillow@yahoo.co.uk.

The Great Kinver Cake Off – our cake making competition – is for the best Victoria sponge, decorated in the Best of British theme.  Entries, standard 7″, should be delivered to the Competitions Tent on Stag Meadow prior to 10am on fayre day. Entry forms are available from June Dillow, details as above.
