Brough Superior SS80 de luxe 1000cc V TwinManufactured May 1939 delivered personally by George Brough to FJ Sontier inSouthampton. Bought by the current owner as a pile of bits and restored by Dave Clarke the Technical Officer of the Brough Owners Club. It has a Matchless side valve engine, Norton Clutch and Gearbox and Monarch Girder Forks. Also has plunger springing at rear (hence “de luxe”). Very civilised “gentleman’s mount” with minimal requirement for changing gear as there is enough torque for most hills.

A 1914 Haleson. Now this is a very rare breed indeed. In fact this machine is beleived to be the only one running on a regular basis. What’s so special? – It’s powered by a 200cc single cyclinder STEAM POWERED engine with heat generated from something similar to a Primus Stove fueled by Methelated Spirit,  The picture shows the machine the day it was delivered to its then new owner. The owner will be demonstrating it on the day and you’ll be surprised just how quickly it goes.
